Diego is based in Brussels, Belgium and specializes in EU regulatory law, focusing on energy, telecommunications and internal market legislation and practice, and also in international trade law, including WTO law and customs law.
He also counsels on regulatory and trade issues involving Latin America and Italy.
He gained his first law degree in Italy and an LL.M. degree in Amsterdam. Diego has practiced in Washington, D.C. and in Rio de Janeiro. Since 1999 from Brussels Diego has represented major Asian and American companies in the automotive, chemical and textile industries. His clients include regulatory related associations and European importers in the steel sector.
He is also counsel to several Asian governments on various trade and WTO issues, including WTO negotiations, and is involved in training of government officials in the field of international trade.
Diego is fluent in English, French, Portuguese and Italian.
