Senior Advisor, Private Equity, Venture Capital and International Projects
Colin is an experienced international counsel and manager of complex legal projects in a variety of key disciplines. He qualified at Clifford Chance, practising for 5 years before moving in-house and spending 10 years supporting businesses across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the US for Motorola and Intel, where he was Regional Counsel for EMEA.
Colin holds an MBA from INSEAD and has built up extensive legal and geographic experience. His focus areas include private equity, venture capital and mergers and acquisitions. Having managed projects in over 40 countries, Colin has extensive experience in representing both venture capital funds, with fund formation, venture capital financing and portfolio management, and emerging and growth stage companies, in venture capital financing rounds, mergers and acquisitions, employment law, intellectual property law, litigation and commercial arrangements.
Colin graduated from Exeter University, the College of Law and INSEAD and has lectured on both the legal and commercial aspects of venture capital and entrepreneurship at INSEAD and at the University of Lausanne. He is currently based in Geneva, Switzerland and is conversant in French and German.
