Rukshad is a lead partner at our affiliated leading independent Indian firm, Majmudar & Partners, in the corporate/M&A, tax and anti-trust practice groups.
Rukshad has over 19 years of experience advising global companies throughout the Indian region on complex domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, private equity investments, strategic investments, asset sales and purchases, hive-offs, and also corporate advisory matters, including income tax and tax treaty issues, and real property matters.
Rukshad’s clients include many multinational Fortune 500 companies from various industries including financial services, professional services, online retailing, software, publishing, electrical systems and IT among many others.
Rukshad has spoken at numerous corporate, M&A and tax conferences, including at the International Bar Association. He is listed as a ‘leading individual’ by the Legal 500.
Rukshad has been a qualified advocate in India since 2000 and is a solicitor admitted in Mumbai and England & Wales. He is also a chartered accountant in India.
Rukshad holds an LLB from KC Law College, Mumbai, India. He is based in Mumbai.
